Jaci was a broken girl, who lived in the crumbling parts of London, England. She was bland, boring. She was never anything special. She was picked on in school, taunted and teased for her lack of a mother. But, what they didn't know, is that she came home everyday to dad that beats her. She had just graduated high school, and was still only 17.

One night, when the beatings got really bad, Jaci could take it no longer. She grabbed a small back pack, and stuffed some of her most precious items into it as she escaped the hell hole she called home out her bedroom window. Out on her own, with no money, and left in an alley, Jaci is found by a nice lady, who takes her in and cares for her.
