When we hear the word war we think of destruction, blood shed, even tears shed over the loved ones we lost. A war between two groups, maybe a civil war, a war between two countries whether it be over land or for power or whatever reason.
The war started before I was born, but I was trained to be prepared to be sent off to fight when I came to age. Us werewolves have always been mortal enemies with vampires. But there was a time when we use to be able to tolerate one another for the sake of human kind. That all changed for reasons we may never know. We've heard many different rumours but only the ones who declared war will ever know what actually started it.
All I do know is being captured was never my plan, to be locked in a small cell and neglected as their kind came and taunted us.
The worst part is I never expected to find my mate...
