High school dropout Leighton juggles her life working at a clothing store at the local mall, taking care of her two-year-old son, and constantly avoiding her ex that got her pregnant at sixteen. It's not like she chose for life to be this way. It's just how things go. Living alone in an apartment in the sleazy side of town, poor Leighton just wishes that she could press the do-over button on her life.

Shane is the guy most girls steer clear from but admire from afar. With his alternative, skater-guy vibe and smoldering smirk, he's got trouble written all over him. So when he shamelessly stars flirting with Leighton in the checkout line, it's no wonder Leighton tells him where to shove it -- after all, there's no way she'd want to make the same mistake again.
