JULY 16th, 1969 . American astronaut Commander Neil Armstrong and his crew exited out if earth's orbit. They exited out of earth's orbit with the Apollo 11 objective in mind. To reach the lunar surface. The mission was a complete succsess. Just upon returning back to the shuttle for a blast back home, a"casual remark" was made by Neil Armstrong. This casual mark would leave a strain of curiosity on the mind of NASA's mission control as well as the dedicated live broadcast viewers.

The Day We Left Earth
If we stayed there any longer, we would have died. Earth was no longer our home, but instead a barren waste land from which we had to escape. August 14, 3044. It was a future where humans didn't have to advance because technology did all the work for them. A future where children couldn't visit their parents after a certain age and you barely know the route through your own house because your teleporting from the bedroom to the kitchen. A world where you're practically mind controlled. It wasn't always like this. Humans used to have diversity and freedom to think for themselves. But on August 14th, 3044 a new species called the Anoch landed on our planet. The humans immediately categorized them as a threat and split the world into two halves by a stone wall. Humans on one side, Anoch on the other. Everyone seems to have adjusted to this change and go on with life as if everything was normal. But not me. I was only six when it happened. It's now the year 3054 and I still find it all strange. The new life the humans have been forced to live. The way the Anoch are treated as if they're some sort of experiment. In a different universe where the Americans landed on the moon first. the Soviets continue to work towards the red planet before the Americans get there too, in the vast attempt to reach the red planet before eachother which leads to a boom in space interest with the general public.
