Garnet was born to the king and queen of Avearen.  They already had 3 other sons who were not happy about having a new sister. Years later the king and queen discover that she has magical powers. Later in Garnet's life they go to meet dignitaries or at least that's what they told her. While they were there they were killed. Once Garnet was 21 one of the staff members discovers a letter from there parents telling them would would be leading the country now.All Rights Reserved
