"Death Note?" I read out loud as I brushed the cover of the journal.
"Chose your victim." A strong raspy voice behind me spoke.
"Wh-wha-what?!" I didn't dare turn around, fearing what stood behind me.
"Oh, dear, it's not called a Death Note for nothing, now is it?" Hysterical laughter could be heard all around.
