I peeked at the clock—11:59 PM, and sighed. In one minute my birthday would be over, and as would the worst night of my life. Just as the clock struck 12, a bright light illuminated outside.
I yelped and covered my eyes, shielding them from the harsh white light. I could hear soft whispers around me as the light slowly grew brighter and brighter. I couldn’t hear what they were saying, but I knew that they weren’t good. But before I could yell for help, the light vanished, just as quickly as it had come. I blinked away the stars and stood up. Peering out my window I saw the remainder of the light wisp away and disappear into the bushes.
12:01 AM that was the moment, my life changed forever.
Alaina's 17 birthday has finally arrived. Her best friend Brett has had a crush on her since kindergarten, yet she still has no idea. Heaven On Earth
It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go. That year was also the first time I snorted Hydrocodone, getting me started in opiates, I experimented with Xanax and liked it. And I was a month from 17 when I got sober. - "Fuck you." I snap.
