"I don't wanna end us."

Without looking up he replied, "But we just agreed to end it."

"I know, but you know what, I changed my mind. I'm a women I am allowed." She said the last part looking at the top of his head covered in his dark brown hair she loved to run her hands through.

He looked up at hear unable to believe what he heard; hoping he heard correctly. "You don't wanna throw in the towel on us."

"No!" She yelled standing up exasperated at the situation. "I never did, but I thought you did and I am not trying to trap you into marriage."

"I only agreed to a divorce because I thought it was what you wanted." He said looking at his midnight haired wife. Looking at her he realized he would never be able to love anyone the way he loves her, never.

"Then let's try." She pleaded. "Let's try to work this out, because I love you Jonathan, I always have."

"And I have always loved you."

"Then what the hell we were about to do!" She said staring at the ceiling again trying to avoid looking at the bright light installed so they could see what they were doing clearly when it was dark and they were cooking dinner together.

"We were about to do something to make the other person happy, even if it meant we were miserable. That my koala bear, means that we still love each other and can make this work."

"Koala bear? You haven't called me that in months." She said finally breaking down into tears.
Jonathan went to her in that moment and grabbed her and held on to her with all his might while she cried. "I'm so sorry my koala, so sorry."

Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. And then one night while heading to go get her friend she's taken and thrown into a world she didn't know existed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Remi?" Jen says suddenly. "Hmm?" I hum back. "Do you ever wish you could just live in the forest? Away from everyone and everything?" She looks at me. "Free." We stare at each other for a long time. I see the real meaning in Jen's eyes. Her worries for going home to her overly strict parents. Her fears for the future and the unknown in general. "If we lived in the forest we wouldn't have gummy bears any more." I comment to lighten the mood. She doesn't find it funny. "I'm serious Remi! What if we did run away?" "Jen, we can't just run away. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.

"Curiosity killed the kitty Miss Adams." My body stiffened. Slowly I turned around just to see Mr. Parker standing in front of me with hands in his trouser pockets. I bit my lip. I thought he would be angry but when I looked at him. His face showed no emotion. He then started walking towards me I moved back. This continued until my back hit the door. Then he placed his one hand on my side, leaning forward, close to me. "What was rule number three Miss Adams." His face was extremely close to mine my breath got hitched. I couldn't answer his question why? Because I was more focused in the distance between us. "I asked you something Miss Adams." He said again. "T-That t-there a-are prohibited areas i-in the house where I shouldn't g-go." "It seems like you remember the rules. This room is one of those prohibited areas. Independent, headstrong, and content, she keeps her heart tucked away, aside from a few one-night stands. She stays around her close-knit crew, a family of regulars and friends. Her normal routine, however, is shattered by one night that changes everything. When an old friend returns to town, Derek, with a group of friends, everything shifts dramatically in Lacey's world. Among his friends is Natalia, Derek's ex and a woman who will date men or women but finds herself drawn to Lacey. In one evening, both women are caught in an unexpected and powerful connection. This sparks an emotional and intense sensual escapade that forces Lacey to confront her feelings she didn't know existed. As the aftershocks of the intimate encounter ripple into the following days, Lacey finds herself torn between her known life and the magnetic allure of a new, uncharted love. The intense bond with Natalia challenges everything Lacey once believed about herself, including her stance on relationships and her guarded view on love, forcing her to check boxes she's never known. For Natalia, the collision of her past, connected to the fame, fortune, and work she's put in, it's time for her to confront future possibilities. As old wounds and unresolved histories stir within their friend groups, loyalties are tested, and the support network of the bar becomes both a sanctuary and a mirror reflecting the complexities of love, desire, and self-acceptance. "One Night Was All It Took" isn't just romance...it's an exploration of identity, the courage to defy preconceived limits, and that life can change in an instant. Witness the transformative power of one chance meeting that upends expectations and challenges the heart to live more fully and fearlessly. Every moment builds toward a future where love is less about definition, and instead of what we desire. And this is just book one. There are seven.

"I want a divorce." And just hearing him say that my whole world that seemed to revolve around him stopped. Gathering myself I barely managed to speak in a voice that even I could not recognise. I couldn't comprehend anything going around me. "Wh..hy?" As soon as the words left my mouth he threw the file and the photographs spread across the floor. And those photographs had me in compromising positions with not one but several men. Looking at those photos I looked straight into his eyes. Disgust and hatred. The only emotions I could see. Taking a deep breath I composed myself and tried to keep my face void of the emotions I felt at that moment. Hurt and immense pain. If he didn't trust me then he has no right to see me vulnerable too. "Is this the only reason why you want to divorce me? No other except this?" It was foolish of me to ask him but I had to make sure. Also for me trust comes before love. If he doesn't trust me I don't even want to save the relationship. "Is this not enough you whore? What else can I expect from a slut and a gold digger like you! I knew it from the start that all you showed was just a facade. Your innocence, kindness, it was all fake. I just don't believe how can I be so dumb." Was I hurt? No I was broken beyond repair. My heart ached. I felt like I was seconds away from collapsing. I had far exceeded the limit of hurt and pain. I was so powerless in that moment that I couldn't even fight with him. Love makes you strong. I have heard and felt that countless times but they always forget to mention what comes after that. Love makes you weak too. I couldn't shout at him because I loved him. But I had to be brave. For myself. ************************************************** Is love enough for two people to be together or is there something more important than love? This is story of Xander and Sophie who loved each other but still couldn't be together. Because more important than love is trust. © All rights reserved

Contract Marriage: I've always loved you ✅

71 parts Complete Mature

He fell in love with the girl he had a one-night stand with. When her true nature revealed, he hated himself for loving her and decided never to see her again. However, his fate took an unexpected turn and entangled him in a contract marriage with her, turning the girl he despised into his temporary wife. Will their love-hate relationship lead to a deeper connection, or will it keep them forever bound by the terms of their contract? *** As I spank her, Grace questions in a surprised tone, "What was that?" "That was for leaving your husband alone in the pool," I respond in a teasing tone, seizing her waist and pulling her towards me, stealing her breath. "But, my dear husband, you're pissing me off. Just move away." She tries to break free from my grasp. "Stop moving, Mrs Grey!" "No, I won't listen to you, Mr Grey. You told me you don't want me, so why are you here again?" "I didn't say that I don't want you," I whisper, closing the distance between us, my lips nearing my angry wife's. "It means the same!" She rolls her eyes. "I want you so damn much, okay? And I'm ready to regret it again and again for doing this. Today, I'll show you how much I desire you, my wife." I confess, my fingers playing with her wet hair, and my hand still firmly gripping her waist. "So tell me. Who is stopping you, husband?"
