A/N: So I've read over this story and realize how bad it truly sucks. I was going to edit and revise it and just delete the old chapters, but I would be pretty much rewriting the book so I'm going to worry about this later after I have some more recent stuff up. I hope any Mated To A Stalker fans can be patient for me. Love you all.

A different type of love
I awoke to shuffling in my room. I looked over to my alarm clock. 2:47. The hell? The shuffling comes closer to my bed and I tense when I see a shadow of a man. I stay still, breath coming in small pants as I tried to pretend I was sleeping. I feel a dip on the end of my bed and stiffen. I squeeze my eyes shut and whimper quietly. I hear a low growl and snap open my eyes to see bright blue eyes staring into my violet ones. I whimper again before bolting out of bed and to the door but the man catches me. I feel his breath on my neck before his face trails up to my ear causing a shiver to run down my spine. "Mate." He whispers huskily. I back up, struggling to get away from this him, not knowing who this person is. Mate? What the fuck is that? Skylar Grey has had a crush on the mysterious Retner Evans. ever since fresman year of highschool when Ret first appeared in all his badass glory Skye has had his eye on him. The Wild Kitten
..... I am rewriting this..... Sorry, but this is utter shit and I can't believe I actually made this. For those of you that like it, maybe you'll like the newer version, maybe not, but it is my goal to get better as a writer and I cannot do that with this kind of plot to remind me of what I have done the days I made them. She had tears in her eyes and was looking at me with disgust. Our eyes locked and it was like the world disappeared. It was her and me. I was to protect her with every fiber in my being and in that moment I want to cherish and comfort her and hurt whoever did this to her. Then it dawned on me. I did this. I hurt my mate. That thought alone made me want so shrivel in a ball and die. We broke eye contact when she quickly got into her car and drove away. She was my mate. A human. I had to make her love me. I have to make her forgive me. All of the hate for her washed away in that moment, that minute, that second. Disclaimer- I wrote this book when I was super naive and didn't know that the abuse written about in this book is unacceptable and not to be tolerated. Also, it's pretty bad writing. Now he is sorry and wants me back? No. "Please. Believe me. I messed up big time! I didn't know what I had until it was gone!" He said. I heard every word.
