Those Damn Carter Boys

Kara Anne James is an army brat and she hates it. The last house that she inhabited for more than a year was in Rose hill, Los Angeles. A suburban neighbourhood with spacious houses and manicured grounds. It was beautiful. The only downside was her utterly annoying neighbours. Okay well not all of them because the owners were lovely people but it was their sons all six of them. They were annoying, hateful, spiteful, lazy jerks. She hated them with all her might and a little part of her still does at eighteen years of age.

So when she is sent to stay with them for the summer as her parents have yet another assignment, she goes after much persuasion, bribery and much duress. She is reluctant to go to say the least. When she finally gets there, she is pleasantly surprised to see that they have all grown up to be very, very good looking. Starting with the gorgeous to the undeniably cute. Especially Drew. Drew was always the meanest to her and yet she somehow she always ended up with him, when they ate, when they played games, even in school! They boys haven’t changed much accept for their age, they’re still the same annoying boys she left four years ago and much to her disappointment treat her like she never left. Kara finds herself falling back into her old life with her old friends but she has this nagging feelings that her parents will soon uproot her again and make her leave her new beginnings behind and that is something that she certainly doesn’t want.
