I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) Now I have to not only keep my feeble body alive, but also protect (or be protected by) my two best friends in the entire world as we all try to survive in a city packed with the Dead.

Have you ever had that moment, when you thought life was normal? You and your family were happy but in the next moment. It turns into Hell! That's how my day went when my family died in front of me. We were on our ship and I had played a prank on one of the crew members. My father disciplined me, and I was stuck in my room. The next moment, our ship was stuck in the middle of a sea storm. The ship was heading straight into a sea of rocks, and the mast was on fire. My father, yelled, "Get off the ship! Clara, Run!" That's what I did. But now I am stuck on this land, mystery coursing through it. I was stuck, and I had no one to help me. I was now on my own. An 18-year-old girl, named Clara. Was now stuck. Until I found him, and I don't how but I did. He saved me from these creatures. And now we are stuck on this island together. We both have to some how to survive all of these things on this island. He is the Man in the Wilderness!

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. Either way, I still get relax and I'm even starting to enjoy my life. That is, until I find out that I'm not the only person-gone-animal. So for now, I'm trying to find a way to get not only myself, but also my new companion, back into human form before the cat drags in something even worse.
