We don't fight one another because we want to. We don't like destroying our kind. But when the need reaches a point where war is the only option, peace cannot be a viable solution. We have been at was since years and it's time one of us win. However, this war is not only between our world. At first, it was me, my nation and this merciless world. I lost everything. And now extraterrestrial forces have interfered in our war and this has become a universal fight. This story is about me, Jake, fighting alone and trying to survive in what's left of this world. My grandfather had left a note 89 years ago.... "This war of humanity will never end, We will fight, suffer and conquer, and it seems as though nothing will remain, but the sand." "I'm not fighting because I want to win, I'm fighting because I have to!"

"Have I ever told you the story of The Phoenix Girl?" My Grandfather asked. "No, you have not," I said. My Grandfather was like any other old man, but his mind was far from ordinary. All grandfathers are alike, each one tells you stories about wars or the good old days. But not my Grandfather. He was a storyteller, but his stories were always different. He would just come up with the stories, and they would be so enrapturing to me. It hooked me from the beginning until the moment I had to leave. But then one day, he told me a story that would change everything for me and my Father. This story called the Phoenix Girl. It's a story of a girl who goes through hardships and struggles in her everyday life. They punish her for things she has no control over, but then she faces it all. She is reborn from the ashes of the flames that had consumed her. She is stronger. But what if this isn't just some story that my grandpa came up with? What if something connected her to my family? What will happen now that the truth is out there? Why was this story so important? What will change? Who is this Phoenix Girl? [Please note that this story is complimented but is under heavy editing at the moment]
