Equinox Un-cannon: The Lost Year

My suit started glowing gold again, once again bringing me to the ground. I thrashed in pain as it created a void wormhole around me, sucking me in. I started falling through the void. My suit beeped and then deactivated, which I had no control over, and despite my best efforts I could not reactivate it. The interface on my chest disappeared and a small beacon of light appeared far away, where I was falling. The light got larger and larger until I fell through it, and landed on a bed. I stood up and looked around the room. I looked at myself and noticed that I was in a different body; a child's body, by comparison.

"Christopher, get up! It's time for school!" A woman yelled from another room. Who could that be? How did she know my name? What is this place? I opened the door to a whole new world and there was no turning back.
