She worries about her mom taking another sip, and if Robert is going to slap her once again when he comes home. Sadie worries if her sister, Sophie, is going to turn out okay. All these worries and stresses causes her own addiction. Nope, not drugs, but something that can be just as deadly. Then Leo randomly talks to her, after years of not saying a word. Can Leo help Sadie? Will Leo be the one to save Sadie from the nightmares, the fog she gets in her head?

Through enlisting the help of a therapist, Sadie realises her list of regrets is a lot more comprehensive than she first thought, and topping that list are two very different but equally important people - Ruben Foster and Camden Jones - neither of which she has seen in over a decade, but who she comes to learn will be key to her positively moving forward in life with her eleven-year-old nephew.
