Rayne Parker was just a normal girl with brains and looks that she'd never really cared about. She had absolutely no interest in love or guys. None. Zilch. Nada. And she had no reason to since none of the guys that liked her were really out for her; they were out to get her into their bed and declare her one of the other girls they'd managed to 'do'. 

Hunter Pierce was a handsome guy with lady-killer charms. He was one of the many players at their school and usually didn't hesitate at a chance to flirt around with any girl.He was the kinda guy who banged and dumped, without a thought to girls' emotions. The kind of guy that Rayne named as one of her reasons for not wanting love in high school. 

They'd never met before, since they'd just never bumped into each other. 

Rayne was a novice at love but she didn't have any impulse to gain more experience in love. She'd never really been interested in love and she had no reason to start now, especially when she finds out that one of the hottest guys in school likes her. 

Hunter was getting tired of the same old 'player' ways. Every time he flirted or banged another girl, it was always the same. They always gave in, just because of his looks, and Hunter was tired of it. He wanted a girl that wouldn't care about what he looked like. He wanted to be in a serious relationship made out of love. Not exactly your typical guy cliche. 

So what happens when they DO meet? 

Because for once, Hunter is looking for that one special girl that would make her the center of his universe. And Rayne had no idea that she was going to become his one special girl. 

So by some strings of fate, they meet and sometimes, love just happens.
