The name "Carol" is just a buzz on the gossip chain at Marc's school. He, his best friend, and the group of girls who gave themselves the name "Clothed In Light", are the only ones who know the true story surrounding her death.
Teirra, the new girl, has never heard of the C.I.L. girls or Carol before. She must rely on the help of Syme to fend off the invites of Kinsely to join the C.I.L., and for answers to the events of Carol's death and the true story behind the school's strange history she'll have to involve herself with Marc - a person who is increasingly wary of her for reasons she can't understand.
