Started by a text.   12 year old,nerdy, australian Alex Marrie is in love. But her love is not a person it for the social network sites such as: instagram, kik, Facebook, gifboom, tumblr, YouTube and so on. One day Alex receives a message on her kik from a boy Jessie Emmones who is also 12 year old and very cute. She found his instagram and he found hers. From that day on they were best friends only o ne problem Jessie lives in LA. They always talked everyday for hours but one day Jessie got a girlfriend and he started ignoring Alex. Alex was so angry, but eventually she forgot about Jessie. 4 years on, Alex isn't that nerdy girl she used to be.she's the bad girl of her school new friend, new look and a new personality. But her parents are sick and tired of her constantly getting in trouble and send her to boarding school. one problem it's in the USA, and also happens to be the same school that Jessie attends. what will happen when these two cross paths.lets just say there will be alot of drama. That is until she is paired with Shane Kings, the grumpy nerd that nobody likes who sits at the back of the class.
