Everything began when I was just six. Or perhaps that was the first time I remember it happening. All I know is that since that day, nothing has ever been the same. Not even close. Bedridden is the story of a boy with a rare disease which leaves him unable to leave his bed, alone in an unfamiliar city ward. Over time he becomes caught up in a number of trying challenges involving gangs, drugs and death. How will Charlie cope with the new and exotic threats which shake his very existence to the core? What decisions will he make, and how will these affect his life forever?
