Forest dwelling teen Serana makes an ill-advised attempt at riding a wild dragon, ending ending her life after a plunge to the forest floor far below. A hagraven has caught her soul as it fled the wreck of its broken body and is keeping it with countless other souls, draining them to enhance her dark magic. Now a ticked off and slightly frightened Serana must find a way to overcome her insubstantial form and escape her captor and death, or accept being drained of all she is.
