Penelope goes out of control and drinking was her only escape away from her life but, the drinking was more serious than she realized. Fast forward a few months and Penelope and her father ended up in Miami, living life on the beach.

But Penelope took Zack for granted and when he was the one lying in a hospital bed, knocking on heavens door, she realised that she needed him more than ever. He promised he would never leave her but, what would happen if he did? After everything they had been through, why leave each other now?

This Romance story is about one sixteen year old girl who has a past and one seventeen year old boy who wanted to know. It's about learning to save yourself before anyone else can, it's about building up those walls so that no one can be let in but when someone else knocks them down, you wonder why you ever built them in the first place.
