The only thing she had to be live in was she was going to get a better life away from her stepmother. To get money for her stepmother, she pick pocketed from random strangers. Then one day, she met the Avengers. She runs away from them only to trip on a log. She broke her ankle and can't get home on time. When she gets home she finds her father dead on the floor with her stepmother gambling with her friends. Will she get a better home? Can her life become better and fuller then ever?

Alone

Growing up on Asgard was one thing, but being the daughter of Loki was another. Layla grew up learning magic, but was never fond of her father's ways. What happens when Loki looses Layla to who knows where? Two bad groups of people want her. No, they need her. Even though one seems like the safest place to be, is it? Will it protect her in the long run? Or will it be the death of her? Will her scarred uncle be there to save her? Or will he be what leads her to her death and maybe his own? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bear with me here. I wrote the beginning when I was twelve. The beginning is bad, but it gets sooooo much better. Trust me. Pull through!! I cringed so many times reading the first few chapters. -warriorchip
