In the early 1900's, the Circus was a new-founded kind of entertainment. In 1911, the Lennox family decided to go to a show when it came to town. When a fire was started and caused everyone to flee, Alexandria Lennox, five years old, got lost in the crow, picked up by a stranger, and forever to be known as a carny. 12 years later, Alex is now the Star Performer and the most beloved carny of all time. Her best friend thinks that's the best thing to ever happen but she thinks the opposite. Too bad Hunter is in love with her, but cant be with her because of the 'No Display of Affection' rule. But when the ringmaster Jack decides to go back to her hometown, Alex and Hunter decide to find out what really happened that day she was at the circus and she got lost from her family.
