Hazel and Max Collins used to be a team. They always beat their parents in dodge ball. Ever since Hazel stepped on her senior year, Max changed. He became so annoying that his sister doesn't want to play with him but he doesn't see this. All he cares about is to get her attention. When Hazel is leaving for college, she met her old friend Cody. Their friendship grew into something more. Max noticed this, so he tries to destroys it but a tragic accident happened that changed both their lives.
