The Bow Tie (1940’s) A young groom walked down the road his handsome suit not getting dirty, his soon to be wife would be waiting. as he walked on his hands began to shake, as he walked a little faster his eyes kept twitching he started to walk faster he couldn't seem to go fast enough he broke into a run as he met his fate a black hand reached from his shadow. he stopped in disbelief he watched his shadow get up it walked toward him and to his surprise started to play with him making him move before he knew it the creature was on top of him it's black hands reaching for his neck but instead his own hands did as the darkened puppet master commanded the creature kept chanting “is he dead, is he dead”and as the monsters hands moved it started to fall into the shadows of night “the end for me” it said “ but my brothers and sisters will rise like i have” the man's body was never found again all that was left was his bow tie still in pristine condition like a key or a relic it remains at the bride's house, she cries all the time about the lady who gave her flowers she had said that there was no way she would ever get married in her eternal life, she will never marry for fear her spell will fall on her next lover, just like the groom, just like the rest. The Darkened Tree(1860’s) as this which gingerly pulls the bark off a tree she watches as this man looks up their eyes meet and she smiles, he walks over and notices he's a gatherer just like her, she smiles he gives her a branch from the tree and she gives him a piece of the bark they nod and he walks off (three days later) she collects more tree bark the man walks up the hill one more time his face says that there is less hope for them then they hoped she rushes to his side and he pushes her away, grabs a stick off the tree and leaves her she cries until the darkened tree becomes invisible in the night (one week later) she pulls one last piece of bark off the tree she smiles at the tree and bows she sta

"Stop following me! Just let me go and leave me in peace!" she pleaded, struggling against his unrelenting grip. "I won't. Not today, not ever. Not after finding you again," he said firmly. "I don't belong here. This isn't my place. Let me go," she begged, desperation in her voice. He shook his head. "You've always belonged. Since the beginning of time, we were meant to be together." "You'll never convince me," she snapped. "I won't be part of this farce or let you treat me like an object without a will of my own." "It's not a farce. It's as real as the sun, and you will be part of it-whether you want to or not. Your only desire should be our companionship," he declared. "Please," she whispered, one last plea as her hand inched toward her waistband. "The only thing left to do... do it for her, if not for love. " he ordered. "For love?" she murmured, shaken. Then her expression hardened. "But love was never an option," she spat, her voice dripping with disgust-before she struck with full force. It wasn't supposed to end like this. Anwesha-once a soldier by choice, not birth-had embraced duty for her nation. But one failed mission led her to the dark waters of the Ganges. Caught in a whirlpool, she accepted death like an old friend. Yet, she didn't die. She woke up in another timeline, but here, she didn't belong. A misfit, a lone coal in a chest of gold. She wasn't chosen by fate, nor favored by the gods-just an accident struggling to return home. But every path back was closed. Trapped, she resolved to be a silent observer. Yet fate had other plans. She crossed paths with the Scions of Kuru, a dynasty shaping history itself. She hadn't intended to get involved, but now she was entangled in their world, for better or worse. Can she survive in this era, or will she find her way back? More importantly-who is she, really? And why her? After all, nothing in this world, or beyond it, is mere coincidence. • Book I ~ Stuck In Time Series •
