Sinatra Morris didn't believe in heart-stopping love until she met the boy who's heart stopped beating.

She's the picture perfect daughter, student, and girlfriend. Straight A's, Class President, Yearbook Editor, head of the Prom Committee. Her boyfriend is the schools star quarterback, her dad the town Mayor. She even lived in the perfect small town of Grandview, Oregon.

Colby Everest didn't trust anyone. Having been bounced from foster home to foster home since he was twelve, he didn't feel the need too when they would push him off to the next reluctant family after a few months. He preferred seeing the world through the lense of his camera anyways, keeping his eye on the beautiful part of an ugly world.

When Colby asks Sinatra for a favor, one which would mean spending more time with him then she would want, he doesn't realize that it would bring them closer together, and would start to open Sinatra up to the possibility of there being a real thing called love. But, just as his luck, everything changes once the going gets good.

And everything ends in a single click.

Going through high school without much of a second glance, she knows more than anyone else that life is hard, and sometimes it doesn't get any better. It's always been that way for her, ever since the night her mom allegedly died in a car accident when she was only four years old. After that, nothing was ever the same. She lived her life in constant wondering how different things would've been if her mom was still alive. Hoping her father was always a part of her life; Skylar never really knew what love was.
