Harvey Locket thought his troubles were a thing of the past, confined to his darkest nightmares. He was so very wrong. He is issued a chilling warning: to be wary, for he is a marked man and his time is running out.

And so Harvey is thrust into a battle to save not only himself, but his mother too. He soon finds himself in a parallel world, full of beasts from myth and legend, of buildings made of crystal, ingenious enchantments and the mysterious group known as Secret Keepers. But Harvey is in for a shock - this Other World may not be as foreign to his family as it is to him.
