After changing majors and graduating with top honours with a masters degree in education, Tris Prior finds herself with a great job, teaching at one of Chicago's most prestigious private schools: Amity Elementary. However, perceptions may often times be distorted and when presented with a difficult situation, Tris will have to trust herself and others to make tough decisions that will have long lasting effects. Easy answers don't always make the best solutions. New friendships will be formed and some questioning alliances made, all in an attempt to get to the truth.
