It's been years since peace was over the land of equestria. Years of devastating battle and death. Equestria has launched into a civil war between which princess deserves to be the ruler of Equestria. Those who support The Solar Empire think Celestia should continue leading on her own while the New Lunar Republic think Luna should take the throne. In the middle of this fight is also a group that think the two princesses should rule together. On this side is a hippalectryon named Stone. Stone is split between both sides as both her parents and even her siblings have deserted her for their desired princesses. Stone is determined to stop this war so she can reunite with her family and really understand what it was like before the war. But is it really that simple?

Based on The New Lunar Republic and Solar Empire fandom.

Disclaimer: I do not own mlp and only own my ideas and characters. So only about 2/10ths of what you read is actually my stuff... Sadly...

Edit #2: Just like the title says, there's gonna be slow updates. Like SLOW updates. Sorry everyone, but thanks for being patient with this little lion :D

Cerys Woodstock, travelling outside of Tainland for the first time in her life, craves adventure and excitement. Tainish Legate Eupheme hosts elaborate parties as a guise to obtain valuable information about the agendas of other lands, to further her own political interests. Yarazhenya, a half Cassioni, half Petrovian candle maker with a penchance for day drinking, is thrilled when her niece arrives to learn about her business in Chevelles. Callira Evarrlie, Tainish spiritualist, linguist, and a close friend of the chancellor of Chevelles, wants to share her knowledge of language and culture with the world. Nobody knows what Witwatersrander Floren Cheshiring does or why he is in Cassion. These are some of the civilian foreigners in the small city of Chevelles, there to teach, to sell, to build, to travel or for other reasons. But their presence raises suspicions among native Cassioni, wary of their intentions and technology. And, as xenophobia increases, so too do acts of violence. Enter Wynemere Brackenridge, fresh from the green countryside of Elsa, new recruit in the marine protectorate forces, a pawn in the fight for Tainish expansion, who wonders if she'll be able to handle the challenges her new life is bringing her. And Gwinael Snowberry, whose her first posting as combattant involves long treks over the Cassioni mountains, skirmishes with angry locals, and attempts to reign in her daydreaming so she can follow orders. Will a mutual understanding across cultures be achieved or will tragedy befall natives and foreigners alike? It is the land of Cassion itself which has the answer, as well as it's own lessons to teach them all. After all, as the Cassioni saying goes: "We have much to learn." (Dear potential reader: This is a medievalesque military low fantasy, with little to no supernatural elements: would love to get some feedback :))

Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)
Daffodils and Hyacinths (Book 3 of the Forgotten Truths Series) by Contrastgaze
29 parts Complete Mature
"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, @EChO11111111111 (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) and @Ripplestream11 ; also credit to our friend who is not comfortable sharing her name (As of right now, Echo's account isn't working, AGAIN, so check both for updates) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!

Everyone has an eye for fan fiction, so dive into this new spin off of the my little pony theories and shows. *There may be spoilers if you have not seen the shows. Everyone in the fandom seems to want the answers to Princess Celestia's and Princess Luna's origins, this story delves into the past of where they originated from, there parents and the history of Equestria, in the time of Starswirl the Bearded, this is the first book that will unlock untold secrets of the past. This first book is Galaxia's story, the mother of Celestia and Luna. As the new kingdom has just recovered from the devastating war against the ruthless dragon king, the ponies once again divide among their race; unicorns, earth ponies, and pegasi, but the unicorns have taken the Canterlot under their rule, as unicorns were deemed superior to all other living creatures. Queen Iris, and King Astraeus have just given birth to two beautiful unicorns, Galaxia and Chrystalline. Though Chrystalline was born with a devastating mutation, a curse it seemed, of a crooked horn. This story highlights tragedy, and the spectacular story of Chrystalline finding her destiny, who will become most famous in Equestrian history a legend, until the story was hidden, and made forgotten by a powerful Alicorn who's guilt, would erase her sisters story.....and you'll have to read to know why....

Xyra Lumina Crescent, first born child to two full-blooded alphas and an alpha female. Xyra is hidden away from her pack, from the outside world and even from herself as she has no idea why she cannot shift or why she is hidden away in a temple to train, train and train. Far away from her family and younger siblings, Xyra sought freedom and to be able to be with her family. But she is trapped and watched by the ladies of the temple of females. A vision of an attack on her pack force Xyra to break free in other to save her parents who would die in the attack, and her people who would be taken hostage. Xyra returns home, but she does not just get the easy life she thought she would get. She discovers that maybe staying at the temple where life was easy was better after all. Who is Xyra? And what is The Last Daughter? ____ 'What will happen if he finds his mate and she dies?' I asked the most obvious question. Dad's wolf gave mine a look. 'Xyra, did you see anything?' 'Yes, not clear, but a strong enough warning. He's going to run mad, isn't he?' 'All lycans do when they lose their mates. Which is why the goddess restrain from giving them one.' Which was true. With how easy they lost their minds after losing their erasthasis, it was best they didn't have one. No one wanted a powerful lycan to go wild and wipe out an entire population, just because their soulmate died. It indeed was why they didn't get one too often. In fact, one could stay for a thousand years and not hear of a lycan finding a mate. They usually just fall in love and get married or get married without love. The king was the strongest like I read. If him losing his mate would turn him against the entire population of living creatures, then maybe it is my duty to protect her. Maybe, just maybe this is what I am meant to do.

Can life get weirder after you fight an army of eldritch horrors? Well, it can, if you're Innocent Sun. Equestria had been plunged into dark powers not meant to be controlled, but then, what about Chaos Magic? Actually, things might only get worse. Whatever the case, Sun's back, and with the help of her friends, old and new, she's ready to use her witchcraft to fight back against (and probably crush) whatever dares to threaten her peaceful life! ...Still reading? Okay, good. So, this is obviously a sequel to my last story, Songs of Innocence, but if you haven't read that, that's okay! The first chapter of this story will get you all caught up! You can even think of that as just the pilot, while this is the main series, so to speak. This story will be a much more... casual read. Unlike SoI 1, this one is not based on a previous draft, so I'll just be making it up as I go along this time. Oh, and by the way, I think I gotta say this, so... I don't own any concepts, characters, or locations canon to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, such as (but not limited to): the Elements of Harmony, Fluttershy, and Equestria. Those belong to Hasbro.
