The Lost Inheritor, the story of a teenage girl, Riley, trying to understand where she belongs and why parts of her life have always felt closely monitored. After a lifetime of rules-no mirrors, no questions about her past, no mention of the abandoned Station 361A-Riley finally starts to see it: her family isn't just changing the subject. They are scared. A recent trip to her ailing grandmother Meemaw's house unmasks the truth. As Meemaw starts to forget more, she accidentally slips names, places-that do not match the history Riley has been told her whole life. Between dusty photo albums, Riley finds proof that she was there long before the story of her adoption began. As secrets begin to unfold, she realizes that one of two things is possible- The people who saved her might be the ones who were lying to her. Or sometimes protection can look a lot like betrayal. It starts to make Riley question herself: What do you do when the truth could cost you the only home you've ever had?
