A girl called Amara Haruka who's parents died in a terrible accident has been living with her grandfather at a dojo( in the middle of a forest) and practicing her combat skills over the past 4 years.
One day a fire breaks out in the dojo-killing her grandfather and Amara is left alone to fend for herself as she runs into the deep depths of the forest, escaping from the possibility of being adopted with nothing but a Japanese katana and a book that survived the fire.
