After a terrible car crash resulting in the death of their parents, 17 year olds Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent back to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkles. Mabel now hates Dipper, and blames him for the crash, since they were only out getting him his anxiety medication. The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. And so in the one place he felt he could truly call home, Dipper was now alone and hated by the "family" that once loved him. Dipper things he's a nice guy until Mabel shows up messing everything up. (bitch). Bill slowly starts to fall in love with the young teen and Dipper starts to fall for the demon as well. After Weirdmaggedon, Dipper stayed in Gravity Falls to study under Ford while Mabel went back home to their parents. Being angry at Dipper for choosing to stay, Mabel becomes distant from him. Over the years Dipper struggles with PTSD from Bill, barely able to sleep and function but feels he can't tell anyone or he will just be a bother to them. It feels himself slowly losing his sanity until an insane demon makes things starting becoming clear once again.
