The soft hum of the lawnmower caressed my ears whispering it's annoying tune soothing me. The dew on the grass tickled my toes sending shivers up my spine. Yet I didn't feel it. Not at all. I was focused on the swat team pulling around outside my house with guns aimed my way. The laser lights flashed red and aimed at my chest, tracing my body. Dressed in a what I call a old fashion cop uniform my dad stepped slowly out of the swat car, putting his hands up in a surrendering motion."Aiden listen to me you don't have to do this. You don't have to run. I'll protect you I promise." That's when I snapped. I felt it. I felt the shivers and heard the lawnmower screech and shutter it's tune no longer soothing. My hand twitched causing everyone to flinch and move their fingers closer to the trigger. My lips pulled up into a smile. My black hair blew into the wind, and as fast as a lighting strike my hand shot out and threw flames at the men surrounding my father. They shrieked and pleaded for there lives but I heard nothing. Felt nothing. It was quiet.
