The Teacher's Guest

When Aliyanna Ostrander is forced to leave home for a year, her life turns for the worse. She has to leave behind a friend, her dad is shipped to war, and she is forced to live with the jackass, Derek Aarons. To make matters worse, she comes to find out that Derek is more than a person she is temporarily living with. He is her teacher.

Through this love hate relationship, Aliyanna tends to straighten out and is able to explore hidden talents, with help of course. Yet, what happens when hers and Derek's feelings evolve and become confusing and something forbidden? Well, I mean, he is only her teacher temporarily, why not take that sacrifice? Yet, after a year, she would have to go back home with her dad when he returns from war. Would she be able to handle letting go so easily, or would she not give up on her true feelings?
