Chase Asher is different and isn't exactly what you'd call popular. He often chooses the company of books over people. Bellerose Books is pretty much his second home.

So when Eleacia Kloss - an aspiring author with awkward tendencies - barges into his life, using a book as a tissue (much to his horror), and weeping, Chase is faced with a difficult decision. Help the crying girl, or let her be? He never was one for leaving a damsel in distress, and he's left with nothing but a lipstick stained cheek to remember her by.

The thing is, Chase isn't satisfied. He wants more, wants to find the mysterious girl from Bellerose Books and begin a whirlwind romance he'd always read about. However, when he does find her; will everything be as magical as he thought it'd be?

Probably not; reality isn't a fairy tale.
