Ever since her mother's car accident Annaliese has been different. She stopped caring about everything, even her estranged father. When her father decides that the best thing for his daughter is to move in with his boyfriend in the small new England town of new and old money, Vandeviere Ferns Annaliese has no choice but to comply.
Although things start to change for her the minute her knee high riding boots hit the floor she will soon come to realize that living in a place where the 1% is the majority, where manor estates and mansions surrounded your home, and money was everywhere you looked; everyone has their secrets and desires and some are willing to do pretty much anything to obtain it...
