Yang is fed up with her team and leaves for good. On her way to find a new team, she encounters a team she has never seen before, Team SLAY. Only 3 are on the team now, Steven, Leon, and Alexis. They also needed help finding a new teammate. The three ask Yang if she can join their team. She happily accepts the invite, however, Team RWBY is after them now. (Note: This book takes place between season 2 and the begins of season 3)
