A plague broke out in 2106, decimating children worldwide. The world has been warring for hundreds of years, things like chemical warfare have been a huge asset, as well as technological warfare. The huge thing surprisingly has been chemical warfare. With the progression of technology, people can do remarkable things in a lab. Targeting children is... Well... Child's play. 

The effect of the plague was something no one could calculate for. Power. Things that had been but fairytales for hundreds of years happened. The kids DNA has mutated, giving them remarkable abilities. Such things like telekinesis, energy emission, enhanced senses, invulnerability and much more. 

Ryker Apex is a unique 18 year old boy. He is the leader of The Damnation, a rebel group striving for the fall of the government and their own army,  Syndicate. Ryker has opposed them since they took away his family, all but his little sister he made sure survived.

A group of scientists accidentally create a new disease that threatens a mass extinction event for humans, and only a small percentage of the population is genetically immune. On top of that, mobs of people are surrounding him, now that they know he's a hero. Between angry parents, crazy teachers, evil siblings, reporting mobs and endless school work, these heroes are at their breaking point. Will the leader have to take control again, or can the heroes handle the job? In a world of masks and capes, who can you trust? Who's really the hero?
