How many people can say they were saved by a merman? You were pretty sure you were one of the only people that could say that you were saved by a merman once.
Now you could say you were saved by a merman twice.
When the merman who once saved your life is in danger, you are enlisted by his brother to return the favor. To your surprise, his tail has been replaced by legs and he looked more man than merman. On top of that, he has amnesia and aquaphobia.
How can you remind someone you don't know about who he was?
How can you convince someone who is afraid of water to go into the ocean?
How can you keep yourself safe when your own past could end up getting you killed?
But every good captain goes down with her ship, so you weren't going to get off until the end- until you were completely sunk.

Nat, happy birthday you big gigantic dork. Take some Mer!Leon. This was originally just going to be a drabble but then I laid out an entire complicated plot and it went from drabble to one-shot to a story, so you're not going to get all of it at once.
