Depression is a mental illness in which any person could suffer from. It is the inner demons for many, including Rebel Savage. She developed depression in grade six, when she began to be bullied about her appearance. In grade eight she had two suicide attempts, and was then put on anti-depressants. She resorted to self-harm, and stopped taking her medication. Ninth grade she was put in the hospital again, and then later recovered and stopped harming herself.

She was on the road to recovery. Until the bullying started again.

Then Rebel discovered Eli.

Contains a lot of music references.

(Note: situations may be a bit frightening and troublesome. This book will contain self-harm mentions, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and frightening topics. But this book does not mean that self harm is good. Please, if you are doing it, tell someone.)
