" I Alex Rodriguez, reject you Cassandra Smith as my mate."  Alex said with a smirk.

"  I mean like Why would I have you as a mate. Your ugly, fat and useless. You would never be a the great alpha luna. I will choose who would be. Not fate, not the moon goddess." He was glaring now. Waiting for my response. 

 My heart felt as If it shattered to a million pieces and he was stepping on each one.   Dont! Dont let him get to me.. I looked up. While my heart was getting armored. I started wiping my eyes that were watery. I looked him straight in his eyes. 

" I will never be with you! " he said. His eyes were cold. 
" how could you, but you know what? I don't care. You were suppose to protect me. But it's okay. I got use to protecting myself. Defending myself. I don't need a coward like you!" those words made me proud of myself. 

His jaw clenched. " like you could protect yourself! Your too weak. You just a pathetic pup!" 

Fire blazed In my eyes,  ready to unleash my anger.
