On the seventh day of September in 1967, in a time of much significance, the town of Howl's most treasured animals fled and never returned: In the middle of nowhere there lies a small town, in that small town there lies a building, and underneath that building there is a secret caved-in passage way, from that secret passage way you are able to see a tall, tall tower. And each night, if you can find her, there is a shadow. When Hugo suddenly has to return to his home town because of his grandmother's illness, the town begins to bombard the boy with questions; Where did the Howletts go? , Who is the fiend? and who took Abigail?

Jacob lived on the top floor of the east wing of the research building. He wasn't a scientist though. He was an experiment. Almost everyone in the east wing was an experiment. His best friend Gracie was an experiment. What type of experiment, you ask. Well everyone here is a hybrid between human and some other animal. Most people can tell you exactly which breed of animal and what percentage of that animal they are. Jacob can tell you that he is mixed with a dove. He can't tell you any more that that though. He doesn't know what percentage he is because he is a failed experiment. What happens when Jacob meets Jason? a wolf hybrid with a plan. He has a plan to escape the torture of the scientists. Thirteen was found by The Hunter as a toddler, not long after the signal tower appeared. At first, he raised his shotgun, ready to kill her, but he hesitated. Something about her red hair... he couldn't. So, he took her home. He put a chain on her ankle to keep her there, but she eventually broke it and took to crawling in the rafters. He didn't mind, but he started to notice she was lonely. So, he took another child. Six. After a few weeks of knowing each other, Thirteen meets another kid. A boy named Mono, and chaos ensues from there. Note: The only character I have any claim over is Thirteen, I'm aging up the characters a bit, and am extending the story past the ending of Little Nightmares 2. I will change Mono's fate because...
