[Battle Aegis: Survival is the first in a four part series that questions the creation, strength and the value of the human life. The tale follows the semi-average lives of Eugene Scott, Walsh Lansing, and Justin Dumas as they attempt to end a catastrophic generational curse that threatens all of humanity. While trying to survive, those chosen must uncover a secret that has been hidden since the first steps of human-kind. The closer Eugene comes to the truth, the more anti-heroic he seems, as the effects of the truth weigh heavily on his soul. He must find a way to escape his growing animosity, and lead the Chosen, before revenge consumes him entirely. Choices have to be made as the end of the world swiftly approaches. One thing is clear…Survival, at all cost.]

The Aurorean Wastes are a frigid land inundated by permafrost and beset by supernatural storms brought about by the world's Aurora Borealis touching entirely too close to the planet's surface. The Aurorean Wastes are a place few humans dare to tread for the land is known to twist its inhabitants into strange facsimiles of their former selves. How did the Aurorean Wastes come to be? How can beauty like the Aurora Borealis be put to such cruel ends? How is a man to get out? These questions and many more must be answered by Aegis-Aegir if he is ever to return home. There are nine separate stories covering the travels of Aegis-Aegir in the Aurorean Wastes. Each story is ten chapters long. When she reached Alexandria she was amazed to realize that a new group of survivors had been let in. While she loved the chance to meet new people, especially when the dead were surrounding them, one person on the new group caught her attention. Daryl Dixon. Bowman, Hunter and loyal to a fault to his group. Having next to no social skills he found himself mesmerized with the young gothic woman who had appeared at the gates with a truck full of food, plants, trees, and a dog. Just because the zombie apocalypse has happened, it doesn't mean that all hope is lost.
