Sarah Harper would probably be the only girl to ever walk out of a Nicholas Sparks movie holding back her puke. She's tired of cliches and tropes - kissing in the rain while some dramatic music plays in the background, knight in shining armor saving the damsel in distress, the good girl falling for the bad boy? To Sarah, they're all bull, nothing compared to the harsh blow of reality.

But all that'll change when her entire world gets turned upside down (literally) when resident bad boy Matthew Carson throws her over his shoulder like a Neanderthal to prevent her from telling the cops about him and his friends' plan to steal an Xbox at 3 in the morning. With this, Sarah finds herself surrounded by tropes - paybacks, bucket lists, and doing things she'd never have dared to do before she met Matthew. She even starts believing in plain old cliches.

What could go wrong, you may ask?

Everything. [Wow, that line is just overused]
