"You were right I am truly amazed how on earth did you get that fast? I mean you lapped me like twice!" I shook my head at the same time trying to blink my tears away.
"You okay?"
"Ya why," I gulped
"You don't look so good."
"Gee thanks" He brushes his hair out of his face.
"No I mean usually you look good." I raised my eyebrows, my stomach does it's stupid fluttery thing which really didn't help with the sickening feeling I was having.
"You think I look good?" I interrupted.
"Healthy, not sick, not like you're gonna puke... Is what I meant."
"Sure." I smirk.
Lisa had to move after the incident, the one that threw her into a great Depression. Her mom has been saying to move on and she's trying. Having made some progress in making friends and attempting to move on she couldn't be happier. Until the memories keep flowing back over her, re opening her wounds again and again. Meanwhile Emmet thinks he's finally found someone that he likes, and it just happens to be the one girl that dosent seem to be begging him to be her boyfriend, her name is Lisa, the new girl at the school with a mysterious past. While Lisa seems to be becoming more and more distant Emmet is simply falling harder and harder for her. Will she slip through his fingers of will he hold her close?

I woke up in a hospital bed, the pain I was feeling was intense. All I remember was practicing gymnastics and then well everything went black. And now the only things I hear are the sound of my heart monitor and the slow dripping of the IV into my arm. The air in the room felt stale, the silence was so "loud" I felt like I could hear my own heart beat. I heard I light knock on the door to my room, the doctor walked in, kind of solemn looking. I got worried, I immediately asked him "Hi doctor, is there something wrong?" " With you? No, your vitals seems stable. But I thought that you should be aware of this now." "Be aware of what?" "It's about your parents." "What about them are they okay?" "No, not exactly. They were in a car accident a couple of days ago, and your father flew through the windshield and broke his leg. Your mother is in a coma and isn't waking up. They are both located at Helena Hospital." This is a story about a girl named Jessica White who is 17 yrs. old and has been a gymnast since she was four. While practicing one day she fell off a high beam and was knocked unconscious, while in the hospital she is informed her parents were in terrible car accident and her mother is now in a coma. Throughout the story Jessica's family breaks, her friendships grow, her trust deteriorates, lost loves return, many tears are shed and hearts are broken but despite the pain her life goes on. I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late. I look at all the men in the group who had their jaws dropped, all except for one, "Touch me one more time, and I'll brake your arm in two." I stand and kick his back so he falls on the concert. "Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge.
