Alpha Grayson Slade of the Raven Claw Pack had everything. A beautiful Luna, perfect kids who he loved to death and to top it all off he was the Alpha of the strongest pack in the country. It seemed as if everything was finally perfect.

Eden Slade's name was already known to everyone after thirteen years of life. After all, it was rare for Alpha's to have female children. Alpha females could strengthen practically any pack. And that was what made her such a target to male wolfs. Strong females equaled stronger pups. Packs from everywhere you could imagine tried to make arrangements between their sons and Eden but alpha Slade, her overprotective Alpha father, wanted no part of this. Luckily, he refused to hand her over to anyone but her mate.

One of the packs that took interest in Eden was their neighboring pack, the Crimson Blood Pack. The Crimson Blood pack were ruthless killing machines. The only thing they cared about was power. So as a piece offering the alpha of the Crimson Blood pack, Alpha Black, suggested having his son Ryder and Eden have an arranged marriage. Obviously, Alpha Slade declined, leaving Alpha Black, who was not used to being told no, furious.

But worst of all, during this time period, something no one saw coming happened. Eden had disappeared in the middle of the night, into thin air. The Raven Claw pack had their best trackers search for her. For days, weeks, months, even years, but there was no trace. Some say she ran away and went rogue, some say she was murdered and they couldn't find her body, but my personal favorite is that they say she was kidnapped by the Crimson Blood pack.

The Alpha was heartbroken. His princess was missing and he couldn't find her. It ripped him apart. Out of his anger and brokenness he did what he thought made sense. He blamed Eden's disappearance on the Crimson Blood pack. Eden's disappearance hadn't just lost the pack a daughter, it had gained a new enemy.

Scars of Alera

51 parts Complete

When a murder shakes her tiny village, Alera will discover a horrifying link between the scars on her arms and the werewolves and vampires that stalk her home. ***** Nineteen-year-old Alera has grown up in the village of Adaymos, listening to stories about the monsters that live in the forest that surround her home. Labelled an outcast because of the scars on her arm, she's an easy scapegoat after one of the villagers is found murdered, but when newcomer Will is framed instead she's forced to question everything she knows about the mysterious outsider. Could he really be the killer? Or is he hiding more about the werewolves and vampires that live in the forest -- and the truth behind Alera's scars -- than he lets on?
