Seventeen-year-old Brandon Mawbray lives in a small town called Havenstone. Four months ago his best friend, Sydney, ran in front of a moving car and was killed. His fathers is a busy man, working at the local box factory almost every day and while his fourteen-year-old sister, Cindy, doesn't want anything to do him, Brandon just can't seem to cope.
