Marlow Green is a sarcastic seventeen year old, who's been through quite a bit in her short life. All she wants to do is figure out her post secondary plans, get the hell out of high school, and get an apartment with her two best friends. Everett Scott has it all. With hot girls throwing themselves at his feet, parties every weekend, and decent grades, Everett seems like the average 'fuck boy', aside from his rocky past he'd rather not talk about. After an embarrassing run-in in the cafeteria, the last person Marlow would ever want to see is Everett. Until, her best friend begs her to tag along on a double date with Everett's best friend. Unfortunately, what Marlow doesn't realize until she gets there, is that she's agreed to a double date with Everett. Asshole, jerk wad, sexist Everett. Everett who...isn't such a jerk once you get to know him. Who is a good listener, and well, not a complete asshole. Unlike his fuck boy friends, who insist Marlow is a 'crazy feminazi'. What follows, is a raw, real romance, full of awkwardness, complications, and trying to figure out the future.
