A warm summer breeze in the bright sky. The hottest month in the year. The sun beating down on my light blonde hair. It felt like a perfect July day. No school. No sassy gossiping girls. No attractive boys to distract me. Just me, my self and my phone..

The moving truck pulled up by the soon non empty house beside mine on the left. My family's always so welcome so they invited them for supper. They have a boy the same age as me. Before I could see him I dashed for the house with out a second thought leaving my mind in the process. I sat on the couch till they arrived at eight for dinner. The parents chatted away as me and the boy ate our food quietly.

After he just sat at the table with the parents as I walked over to the trampoline to jump. I pulled out some 360's and some back flips till the boy walked over to the trampoline. I stopped jumping and sat down. He sat also. We sat in silence till I spoke through the awkwardness. " I'm Avery.." Then I thought ' Wow Avery way to make this situation more awkward.' He replied with, " I'm Jacob. This may sound cheese my but your kinda cute." He blushed with light pink filling his upper cheeks. I spoke up shyly, " Wanna be friends?" He gave a warm smile and said with a light low chuckle, " Sure, I'd like that."

That's how a new friend ship came to be in my life. I have a feeling this will turn to more then a friendship but we won't really know till we read this book so let's give it a shot, am I right? Like what's the worst that could happen..
