Our story begins far off in the northern mountains of Nosgrath. Where one of the three major dwarven strongholds lie. These mountains may not be the richest in the lands, but what these dwarves lack in wealth, they make up in spirit. The heroine of this tale is a young dwarf named ProudBeard. ProudBeard lives in the slums of the city with his mother and father who were huge gamblers. They bid everything the family owns just for a chance at something greater, but they weren't very good at it. So much so, they made a bet with a local Elven cartel and lost, and they couldn't pay what they owed. The cartel snuck into the mountains, and set fire to the slums districts all over the Mountian. ProudBeard was only a child at this time, he had watched his parents being slaughtered, yet his life was spaired. The Elven cartel leader, who was a magical bard, had taken in the young dwarf as an apprentice of sorts. The elf took ProudBeard out of Nosgrath and raised him as his own. Many decades have passed and ProudBeard is now 123 years old, which is still quite young for a dwarf. He had become a bard just like his Elven master, and works with the cartel. Now the tale of ProudBeard the bard, truly begins…

She had lived a long life. Most of it was spent running from herself and her past, but the past has a strange way of catching up to us. After years of solitude Lia joined the so called Fellowship of the Ring on their long and dangerous journey to Mount Doom. She was a fine warrior and yet even she was not imune to darkness. When the dark of her past catched up to her, Lia had to make sure her demons would not stand in the way of protecting the Middle Earth. Even at the cost of her life, of her heart. Even if it cost her everything, she would do what she judges to be right in order to save Arda. Nothing would stand in her way of protecting all those she loved. An Unexpected Member
You've heard the story of the 13 Dwarfs, the wizard and the Hobbit right? Well they left out one thing, the Unexpected Member of the Company. I was there for it all, from the Shire to Rivendale to Mirkwood and then The Lonely Mountain. You see I am 1/4 Elf, 1/4 man, 1/4 wizard and 1/4 Dwarf so I am tall for a dwarf but not tall enough for an elf/man/wizard. But the elven/wizard side gave me powers that nobody else had, nobody knew who my parents were other then my mother was 1/2 elf and 1/2 man and my father was 1/2 wizard and 1/2 dwarf. Gandalf and Lady Galadriel sent me to "Earth" after Smaug took over Erebor when I was nothing but a little baby girl. 40 yrs later here I am still looking like I am in my 20's with a very bad attitude and wanting NOTHING but to get away from my stupid foster home.......this is MY story on what happened and how I got bad to Middle Earth, trained with Gandalf and Lady Galadriel till it was time to take back the mountain. The Flower In The Flame
She was just trying to have a real life. A life where there were no summons, no war, no death... just... peace. A life she'd found in a tiny town under the shadow of a great mountain, with a man and 3 children that she loved enough to give up her immortality for. A life that is threatened when a summons comes from someone she cannot refuse and throws her into the middle of a story she never wanted to be a part of. Once we were one. One kingdom. One king. One powerful nation. But two greedy warriors destroyed that. They shattered our empire in two. Breaking apart people. Turning a peaceful age into one of war and death. My kin went into hiding while the world was in turmoil. Peace may have come but it is shaky, resting on a blade of a sword. The true heir is out there. He will venture past our borders to be aided by a wanted, a rebel, and a mistake. They will help unite the realms into one once again. Then the heir will sit on the throne to unite us again. At least that's the legend. What we are told to believe. What 'must' be true. The Goliath
Inspired by a current Dungeons and Dragons campaign I'm a part of. This story takes place just before the campaign begins, providing a brief backstory for my character, T'orgir (pronounced as Tore-Gear). The short story takes place on a continent named Andor, Where Dreams Unfold. Step into Andor, a realm of boundless wonder.
