Tate is a Hunter. Hunters are people that hunt supernatural beings and have roamed the Earth for millions of years. Once every 5,000 years, a Hunter guy or girl is chosen. They must go through different phases of becoming the things they hunt from a toddler to an adult. For those chosen, they’re either lucky to find their perfect mortal, or unlucky. The Hunter must complete all the stages to be happy with their mortal. It’s usually an easy quest for a Hunter. It just happens to be that his mortal mate is someone very important.
